The new Batman game “Arkham Knight” did not get the praise in the first weeks of its release, since the graphics of its PC version was lacking some key features. The PC version quality was shockingly below the Xbox One version, which could be seen best when observing rain effects in both instances. With the new graphics patch, Rocksteady made sure that those things were ironed out and that their PC version looks and feel as it should, with the rain graphics and ambient occlusion now working properly. In any case we recommend checking out the head-to-head comparison of the improved PC version, the old PC version and the one made for consoles. For those interested, we used the Xbox One as our console of choice and AMD R9 290x 1080p with all settings maxed out and Gameworks enabled as a PC reference. Take note that only nVidia users can enjoy the smoke and paper interactions for now.
